Hi!

I’m Liana, a Motion Designer and the “puts eyes on things” person in my circle. I create motion that feels intentional, expressive, and alive.

I grew up in the SF Bay and eventually made my way to the city. With an early love of film and drawing, animation seemed like the natural path forward. Character animation led me from entertainment to advertising, as I transitioned from working on a Netflix show to client work at agencies like BUCK and Scholar.

Over the years, influences from product design and social-native motion have crept into my cartoony sensibilities. While my toolkit has expanded, the “why” behind a story remains at the heart of my approach to motion.

Outside of work, I tend to cycle through creative fascinations. Lately, that’s looked like plein air painting and surfing.

I graduated from Calarts with a BFA in Character Animation.

I’m always looking for the next exciting project, and can be reached at

Past Clients: BUCK Design, Scholar, Netflix, LOGAN TV, Midi Health, Amodeo Creative, Sandwich Video, JibJab, Wolf Den, Very True Story and more.

At these agencies, I’ve worked on projects for Airbnb, Target, Dunkin’, META, Snapchat, Amazon, and Warner Animation Group, etc.
