Hi!

I’m Liana, a Motion Designer and the “puts eyes on things” person in my family. I’m here to tell fun and engaging stories. 

I grew up in the SF Bay and eventually made my way to the city. Growing up I zeroed in on fine arts fundamentals. I was a big details kid, relishing in the bells and whistles of figure drawing. Character Animation took me from entertainment to advertising, as I transitioned from working on a Netflix show to animating on ads for the Lego Movie franchise, then to tech client work at agencies like BUCK and Sandwich Video.

It’s no surprise that Advertising and Product Design trends have crept into my cartoony sensibilities. While adopting a slightly more formal design language, communicating a clear narrative has stayed the heart of my process.

You can find me cycling through pastimes in spare moments. Current fascinations include printmaking and baking eclairs. 

I graduated with a BFA from Calarts with a métier in Character Animation.
